Welcome to Drive Archiver ("we", "us", "our"). We are committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle your information when you use our Google Workspace Add-on (the "Service").

1. Information We Do Not Collect or Store

Our philosophy is to be as privacy-respecting as possible. We have designed our Service to function without collecting or storing any of your personal information or file data on our own servers.

File Content: We do not see, read, copy, or store the contents of your files. All zipping and unzipping operations are performed by Google's servers within your own Google Account. The files never leave the Google ecosystem.
Personal Information: We do not collect, store, or have access to personal information such as your name, profile picture, or contact lists.

2. Information We Use

To provide our premium features, the Service needs to identify you in a minimal way. This is the only information we use:

Your Email Address: We use your Google Account email address for one purpose only: to check if you or your organization's domain has been granted premium access to the Service. This check happens in real-time and your email address is not logged or stored by us.

3. Google API Scopes and Permissions

Our add-on requests the minimum permissions necessary to function. When you authorize the app, you grant it permission to:

See, edit, create, and delete all your Google Drive files: This permission is required by the add-on's runtime environment to use standard `DriveApp` methods like creating and reading files. Our add-on only ever acts on files you specifically select or on new files it creates. It does not read or delete other files.
View your email address: As explained above, this is solely for verifying premium access.
View metadata for files you have opened with this app: Required by the Google Workspace Add-on framework to interact with the Drive interface correctly.

All interactions with your Google Account are governed by the Google API Services User Data Policy.

4. Data Security

All operations performed by the Service occur within Google's secure infrastructure. We rely on the robust security measures provided by Google to protect your data during processing.

Drive Archiver provides a toolset to extract and create zip archives within the Google Drive environment. The Service offers a free tier with core functionality (extracting archives) and a premium tier with advanced functionality (creating archives). Access to the premium tier is granted to specified individual users or entire domains upon agreement.

2. Use of the Service

You agree not to misuse the Service. The Service is provided for its intended purpose of managing archive files. You are responsible for the content you process with the Service and for complying with all applicable laws and regulations.

3. Premium Subscriptions

Premium access is managed by us. We reserve the right to grant or revoke premium access at our discretion. Access is typically granted to organizations or individuals upon mutual agreement and is not transferable.

4. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis. We make no warranty that the Service will meet your requirements or be available on an uninterrupted, secure, or error-free basis. We do not warrant the results that may be obtained from the use of the Service.

5. Limitation of Liability

In no event shall Drive Archiver be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, including without limitation, loss of profits, data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses, resulting from (i) your access to or use of or inability to access or use the Service; (ii) any unauthorized access to or use of our servers and/or any and all personal information stored therein.
